The Person Behind the Practice

For over 20 years, Leigh Kennedy has been helping people reconnect — with themselves, with others, and with the joy of learning.

Trained in artistic therapies and PBSP Psychomotor practice, Leigh brings warmth, creativity and trauma-informed care to every session.

This is not art for art's sake — it is art as expression. Guided processes using clay, watercolour, sandtray and crayons place emotional regulation at the centre, allowing emotional awareness and literacy to expand naturally and without effort.

Our children are our future. The adults who surround them — educators, parents, carers — shape everything. This work exists to support those adults with the tools, confidence and emotional awareness to make a lasting difference.

What Educators Are Saying

This program was an amazing experience — not only to learn about how we could support children's emotional regulation using artistic expression, but to build our own capacity to understand our own emotions as part of this relationship. Our presenter Leigh opened up my eyes to the power of therapy through art. My team and I were very comfortable with her methods and felt able to express our own emotions through the tools used within the course. It's great to have another avenue of communicating with children who otherwise are unable to express how they feel. A really interesting course — I highly recommend."
